I can handle lvl 18 pets and would like to know what planet/area would be ideal for me and my lame pets?

Geta mottled wrix if you can train aggro, and go with a group to the squill cave on Tatooine. You'll probably get 700 or so CH XP per squill in the cave. Send the pet in to get a single hit (watch the combat spam) and then pull them off, and sic the pet on the next squill. Once the squil goes down you'll get the system message awarding you XP. Having TKM groupmates to tank gives you an ideal situation to get XP without much danger to you or your pet. Same principle applies to the Geo Caves, but higher CLs.

With CL 18 pets you've got to move up to where you're taking on CL 30 or so to get the best XP. If you're soloing, you'll need to be careful not to overextend your critters and have enough combat power to take they prey down down fast. Remember that incapped pets at the time of the kill don't get you CH XP.

I'd try the Agrilat swamps on Corellia and the area 1500m E of Keren for good opportunities for XP.
