has done that, and surrendered Carbineer for Rifle (for a test, iam still have my carbines and all other carbine stuff)
Carbineer was net so bad, for me it was great beeing faster than a rifle man, and not so near as a pistoleer is... but...

Carbineers can only do Acid, Heat and Energy damage. These damage types are common and many high-end mobs are heavily resitant or even immune to these excluding Carbineers from much of the high-end content <--- as sayed by the Carbineer Correspondent and also my problem i´ve got several harvest/hunting Sessions where my problem was exaktly i had no dmg output, in energy 90% resist, Heat 100% Resist and Acid 100% like the Enraged Dune Kimogila or, sure it must not attack this.. and god thanx not all creatures are that Heavy for a Carbineer
but a Creature like that one above got also 0% cold an 0% Stun resis so.. guess what..
SG82 Cold None Rifleman
Jawa Ion Stun Light Rifleman
You can actually du something.. and for now iam looking into it how it is to become CH/Rifleman and what i can kill
because i dont whant to pvp.. only at the search of best hides/meat/bones

and after the Combat Revamp, maybe ill be Carbineer again

Started out as a Master CH and rifleman in the beginning of SWG and later switched to Commando. I certainly enjoyed the Flamethrower and am now looking for a better ranged attack as well.
Though about rifleman, carb or even BH LLC. Any thoughts on which is better to support pets?
Thanks,

Im a MCH TKM with 4/0/4/0 medic this is an awesome template IMO for PvE and PvP but has one drastic falldown; i can only do kinetic damage so i cant take anything with 100% kin resist by myself. I can only suggest this template to anyone its just great IMO.
If your wanting to stay ranged though BH LCC, if you can get a good one is very formidable but also limits the dm types you can deal.
If you dont want to be limited to a few dm types I suggest going with pistoleer (MCH, M pistols, and 4/3/4/0 medic)your close to your pets and can heal yourself and your pets effectively with switching between stim Ds and pet stims, just remember to get mind buffs and food.

If you are going to go ranged attack, RIFLEMAN is the undisputed king. I looked at carbineer and pistoleer and really saw that Rifleman is what you want for ranged, hands down, not to mention the synergy between Rifleman and Creature Handler is terrific.
