I command my pets to perform their specials, but the strong poison does not seem to be commandable. I can see over their heads when they attempt to stun, intimidate, posture down, blind... but it never shows them trying to poison. I also don't see a higher incidence of the creature getting posioned if I am telling creature to dopoison attackthan if I just let them fight.

So do the developersconsider this too powerful a special to be able to command?

Most people in here will say it isnt commandable, but I have personally used it against an NPC once before with my lvl 54 kimo. So I dunno

My level 36 kaddu can use its poison attack. I would not say its all that strong, and my level 40 woolamander outright refuses to poison disease a target.

There are at least three commands that do not seem to work properly - poison, disease, and knock down. Your pet will still randomly use these abilities however.

Now, having said that, I think poison does work on command but inconsistently. I don't havea pet that does disease so have never used it. I've never had knock down work on command. Anyway, just last night, I was using my gaping spider recluse, and there were times it definitely seemed to use both its poison spray and strong poison specials on command.

I found out the hard way that poison spray worked at least once on command. I was fighting a rancor and happened to be next to some maklocs. I meant to hit the macro for special attack 2 (strong poison) but accidently hit special attack 1 (poison spray). The next thing I know I'm fighting a rancor and 3 adult maklocs Maybe a coincidence - a random use of poison spray. But it would be a pretty big coincidence that my spider used it right after I hit the command.

My mantigrue screecher has used his plague strike a few times when I've used him, my BE gurrcat's used her poison. My noxious and festering squills, however; rarely use their disease specials and I've not yet tried out my malignant squill's strong disease.

Well I have tested in at least 50 fights spamming my pets to use poison special and and the same numbernot telling them to. It really seems that the incendnce of them using it is no better if I tell them to than when I don't. So I am pretty sure they do not respond to commands to use it.

My Mantigrue Screecher and Merek Deaths Head seem to do better with letting random useage handle it, most uncool.
