Thread: Creature special attacks and ranged attacks

Has anyone played on the TC and know how to get the above mentioned to work. I tried the commands in Ctrl-S (/pet ranged attach & /pet special attack 1&2) But the /pet command is the one that says "You pet (target name). ANy advice on this?

In relation to creatures, it means, target your pet or anyone else's pet and type /pet
The Pet will sometimes lay down or assume another position, for you. If it is trained in the Trick commands, it also opens up secondary trick variations for some pets. This gives some pets up to 4 tricks they can do.
For example: a Rancor who has been /pet (he actually stands on his front arms if it's succesful), will proceed to pound the ground (when told to Trick), shaking everything around you.

I was actually speaking of special and ranged attacks in the CU . Theres no longer a place to teach them commands for these actions it just says /pet ranged attack and /pet special attack 1&2 as the commands you are supposed to use. Sorry I wasn't clear about this hehe

It appears atm that pet specials have been removed from the game.

when you train your pet.. on the command for ranged attack.. type "ura" and then enter.. when u call your pet.. automaticly type in this command and your pet will be on it through it's battles...Atine Lightwave

i tried it on TC and also found that i couldn't train the special attacks and the ranged attack command.
while special attacks arent implemented yet (as far as we know) the range attacking will still work. in fact when i gave the attack command my pet attacked always with ranged attack when the target wasnt in melee distance (ranged attack gave always enerqy damage). only when i got the target real close to my pet and told it to attack it used melee (for kinetic damage).
