Creature Handler Archive

Well I am a novice CH. I was just reading through the forums and apparently there are...*ahem* a FEW problems with CH.... I intended to get CH to help get BH, however it seems the profession will do me little good. Is it still worth it to get CH 1/1/1/1 or something?

Well you have to first explain what you want the creature handler profession to do for you (If you are keeping it after bounty hunter that is). Otherwise no one can really make a good assessment of what you want out of it. Did you want to get it to help fight jedi and/or your bounties? Though to answer your other comment, in my personal opinion unless you find a very good bio engineered pet getting those first skill boxes wouldn't help much. Considering they all take five points to learn you would be better off getting a whole tree. You would receive a max level of pets +24 instead of the +20 you would get by taking the first boxes. Plus by learning a whole tree you get some of the more useful abilities instead of the novice like abilities of the first boxes. Though if you just wanted to help you level bounty hunter I would say just forget it. It takes too much time leveling if you don't have a skilled friend or group and would take up alot of time you could be using to level bounty hunter. Heh, I somehow I missed the part in your post about using it to HELP level (Thank god I caught it and edited before I submitted). But hey, what do you except it is three in the morning here lol.

thanks for the input. I was intending to keep CH after getting BH to tank and such. But now I'm not sure its worth it. Thanks again.
