Creature Handler Archive

I've been looking on Kettemoor for months on and off for Great Plains Stalker spawns, I must have shot 500 of these beasts.

Never a baby. So the other day I was getting ready to log after a very productive day doing quests and decided to take 10 minutes

and fly around the outskirts of Cnet. I found a GPS sitting by the water, as usual, just waiting to be killed. Well i pulled out my FWG5 and my screecher, then proceeded to kill the GPS. Now i usually make a waypoint on his location in case he had moved and will re-spawn somewhere else, but i had forgotten to do it this time. Luckily he came back near the same spot, and as i targeted him to create a waypoint, it created the beam of light 75m away from him. That was strange, just another glitch i thought. So i tried it again, and it did the same thing. Well just as I was going to destroy the waypoint from my datapad, ANOTHER Stalker spawned right at the beam of light! So I now have two Adult Great Plains Stalkers on my screen. Needless to say, I was amazed. And I thought to myself, this has got to be my lucky night. So i blasted both of them, and 4 minutes later, another Stalker spawned. And then, there he was. A Great Plains Stalker baby standing right next to his momma. I threw on my +15 taming and maskscent gunman's duster just for good measure, and proceeded to tame the beast right underneath his momma's nose. It was a very good day.

BTW.....thats interesting to see that the adult did not attack the baby standing next to it right away since their ferocity is 15.

Heck I lost a baby a few months back because it attacked my pet just as it spawned even though we were like 56m from it.
