Ok I got bored trying the PvP thing, it is nothing but a series of I pwone you or you Pwone me I have been in 1 really good fight all otheres lasted only about 30 sec. Well that and I missed my pets.
So because my dam mount attacked something oneday I lost 140K of CH xp /sigh
I am starting the long grind back currently a 0/2/0/0 CH again
I am finding out doing it this time, it is easier the 2nd time around. I managed 30K xp in 1 hour of hunting on Lok, The only sad thing is that I have to tank for my BE pet /sigh

you insisted on learning the hard way, and now you're paying for it.
well, at least you know now that pvp is not worth dropping ch over.

I dropped CH because I wanted to try out Teras Kasi. Not because I wanted to be a force to be reckoned with in PVP, but I wanted to experience the class first-hand. To understand it and to see how gimped I was as a CH with Master Pistoleer. I learned that TKM is a lot of fun and I wouldn't trade it for any other class, but I also learned during my time as a Rebel that PVP is like a first-person shooter with stats. In the end it doesn't matter who wins, because the struggle is a moot point and has no bearing on the game world. The GCW is just an excuse for people to fight each other. I had these grand ideas of how being a Rebel and fighting the Imperials would bring me glory. Yeah right! lol It's dumbed down to leet speak morons that think they're the shiznit. Don't get me wrong, I've met some great PVPers that have mutual respect, but PVP has been ruined by people that like to brag and "own". Once again something that could've been great is ruined by egotistical teenagers.
I'll be dropping all of medic and choice blocks of Pistoleer to become MCH again. I liked it back when things were simpler and sharing my pets with people made me happy. My aim is to be a Jack Hannah of wookiees and an all-around nice guy.
That's my new goal. I start my quest for MCH again very soon.

the only good PvP fights are really meleevmelee... they at least last awhile...
PvP goes like this
carbines andcommando suck...
pikes are good for dots (mini CM), thats about it
swords hit you in the head
TK, best toughness good dizzy/kd, can hit ya in the head, powerboost and FoW...
fencer- great defences and stun weapon
pistols with BH pistol line and smuggler dirty fighting line- nice combo
Rifles- stun and hit ya in the head
CM- toss cheese... add in rifles and just toss/kite/HS3 spam... (very common temp)
then theres the straight defence stackers... capped ranged and melee defences, usually capped dodge or counter attack, CoB macro running... untill they get cheese tossed on them they can fight for awhile...
higher lvl jedi are the king of PvP, if things look bad force run away
in the end all you get form PvP is... ruined armor, weapon useage decay, and no money to buy more

PvP in this game is a joke its all template and click attack. Player skill based PvP is exciting and gets the addrenilin pumping, not something this engine provides. Perhaps JTL will bring that if they don't make your template play a roll in things like aim and flight control abilities.
One of the best PvP games hands down is JumpGate. Unfortunately that is about all it is and it is so small a niche that it is dieing. In that game you had to understand how your craft reacted to the physics engine, what were the right combination of equipment and weapons to be functional, and parctice for hours on end to get competitive. You hadto know how to manuever and aimand the best equipment to give you good control. There were mouse and joystick combinations that provided small edgesif you had the practice to put them to good use but nothing overcame practice. It was your personal skills against the other guys, both in flight control and in group coordination. That was PvP not the template stacking stats based click and macro SWG offers. I have avoided it except for a few duels for those very reasons.

I was bored and needed something new to do pvp seemed like a good place to start. It was still the height of the GCW on the server before everyone gave it up because it seemed pointless.
But I am glad I mastered TKM it was fun while it lasted

Yeah, the game isn't any fun if you play it as I think the dev's intended.
I just use it sort of as a collection/hunting tool.
Without my pets, this game would have been deleted long ago.
Sheesh, I still don't have a widow, gaping queen, bull rancor, GPS... what a newb I am =x
But, once a week - I'm on looking for that GPS for an hour before bed. Many months and counting.
