The recent resignations from a few correspondents is not setting a good tone of things to come. I find it a bit disturbing to know that the same people that have seen the supposed up and coming plans for the combat revamp are quitting. I sense major disappointment coming...

Not really surprised if that's the case....how many correspondents have gone then?
Are they dropping like flies or is it just a couple at the last count?

I think they may be getting sick of the position that the Devs are putting them in.
Pacify the community but don't reveil anything while we stay off the boards and let you take the heat for no pay.
Seriously would you do that for long?

That's exactly how I see things too. I've already begun looking at returning to DAoC, EQ, or joining WoW when it is released. If JTL and the revamp are disappointing, then this game is dead as far as I'm concerned.

Aak,
I have an old saying "Don't assume anything cause that just puts an a$$ between u and me"
It maybe simple exhaustion, it could be personal life issues. We don't know and if they don't say then we are only guessing at the reasons why.
Maybe they want to play the game without the headache of trying to calm the masses. We don't know. If you want to know specifically I suggest PMing them and hoping they will reply.

If I had a nickel...
Seriously, though, I'm barely two months into this game, and I'm starting to develop thepessimistic "what did the devs mess up this time" attitude.

So just where do you go to see all the correspondents leaving the boards? In other words where exactly do you get your info from>

Carbineer and Pistoleer forums. The "I am quitting" thread is usually stickied.
Plus theirs Tiggs' threads looking for new correspondents...

Well, if too many things are happening "by chance" nothing might be happening by chance at all...

I dont know how tomake a clicky, sorry {maybe someone who does can do that for me
}
Anyway, maybe that can help alieviate(sp?) some of the worries around here {although I do know how tough that can be here
}
Anyway I think it's better to have no expectations of the CB as the most likely outcome of high expectations is disapointment. And the only result of low expectations is frustration. My 2cents.

They didn't all quit at the same time, or because of something they saw while attending the Summit (of those who went). They quit at various times for various personal reasons, and Tiggs chose to put up all the "Correspondent Position Opening" threads on the same day.
