This thread was on the smuggler forums about something the pistoleer correspondent said. I think you guys will get a gas out of how he says the pistoleer profession was the most neglected. My alt is MBH/CH currently in limbo awaiting the CU. When I read this the ego on sent me for a spin.

Technically speaking we wern't neglected. in fact, all of our problems came from NOT ENOUGH neglect. If they had just stopped right with spreading creature levels through the proffesion treesthings would of been even, but they had to SERIOUSLY do some major coding to properly nerf us, most of which was unneccesary and a waste of time if i remember its terms correctly, and has continued to make us the weakest combat proffesion in the game ever since by far. And pistoleer hasn't even been directly changed since launch except for some schems if i understand, but its a tough race to decide who is least neglected.

Well aint the delay of the combat upgrade the real neglect for chs. Seeing as the nerfing of ch was part of the CURB. Anyway I was really sickened by what I read there. How neglected pistoleer was. How much it needed help. This on the smuggler forum by the way a profession with no real skill mods. A entire line that gives the ability to talk to jawas. Has undercut spices. Has no new weapon certs. Requires brawler skills which no smuggler uses. It struck me as I do not know naive maybe or self important.
I just thought it was terribly funny to read.

Actually the CH origonal nerf wasn't in the CURB, in fact back then the combat rebalance wasnt even considered yet :/. there was a smaller nerf to pet HAM which they claimed was for balance but other than that we haven't gotten a single other piece of code besides a stealth and probably unintended boost to pet damage in pvp.
