I noticed the a couple of weeks ago but though it might just have been an off night. But now it looks like the devs have either dropped a new bug on us or they've stealth nerfed us.
I used to be able to use my pets to land a dizzy then land a cripple. This used to (often) have the effect of causing an npc, like a tusken raider, to do the flopping fish impression. I used to use it a lot in fort tusken, and even used it in PvP successfully once.
But now if you manage to dizzy an npc, then land a cripple, the dizzy dissapears and they get back up. Im pretty sure this doesnt affect TKMs or BHs etc. So why has our dizzy / posture down been removed?
If I didnt know better I would have said they stealth nerfed us in case someone, somewhere, actually wins using CH in PvP.
Has anyone else noticed this?

I have! The other night i had my pet spam a dizzy on a TKM def stacker now granted he is a DEF stacker but I think after 30 or 40 attacks a dizzy propably SHOULD have landed eventually.

As far as I know, you'll only get the flopping fish effect if the NPC changes it's posture while dizzy, and not when a posture down is forced upon it. Even so, I don't remember dizzy poofing like that. I did the Rebel themepark recently and had stormiesdoing the floppy danceusinga pet who has dizzy, but no posture down. They would shoot at my pet until they tried to kneel and then they hit the ground and couldn't get back up. It was great

Actually, this is a new "feature".
Rumor has it, it's a fix to the broken spawns at the DWB.
Since it was related to dizzy/kd, anytime you dizzy an enemy in PvE, the dizzy will clear if you force a posture down on them.
Apparently it still works in PvP though.

So it isnt just me.
Oh well, no more flopping fish tuskens for me then.
This 'feature' is another blow to CH. But from what you say it does affect the other profs too. Wonder if it will be fixed...

Wow. So the entire point of the Dizzy special is completely irrelevant now if you are correct.

Hmm, I'll check it out for myself. I haven't heard of any intentional nerfing like what CobaltSorrow mentioned. If anyone else does some structured testing of this, I'd be interested in reading those results, too.

Yes, they changed that. Tested with a pet with crippling/dizzy specials. Cl is 62 and it has 0.56 to hit, 1.99 speed, so it is quite reliable.
Dizzy can hit and stay for a while, but once you do posture down on a NPC with pet the dizzy state is cleared first so that the NPC never falls down. I don't remember seeing any of this mentioned in the patch notes, not the sort of "feature" I like to be sneaked in.
EDIT: Target NPC was a Mauler Lord.
