Thread: A good ranged duo (sp?) or trio. anyone have one?
BE spiders/ Bluurgsor Quenkers are the only ones I know of off the top of my head.
I would tend to ask why as any ranged beasts you find will out range attack your ranged pets (my observations so far).
Any humanoid shooters will out damage your spitting pets as well... so I ask again why?
From my experience you want to close in on shooters or spitters due to the damage output and damage you take and have pets melee.
Having 2 ranged pets will get a shot or 2 on non ranged mobs but they will close in on the spitting pets like stink on a womp rat. That is the only benefit I see is 1 or 2 attacks before the melee starts. Once melee starts (and it will quickly) do they have adequate output compared to a non-ranged pet of equal level?
Not a flame whatsoever, just scratchin my head.

Krayt hunting. I find melee pets/droids have a hard time keeping up with the krayt to damage it. Ranged pets/droids can out damage the healing rate of the krayt while I hold argo and kite FTW. Thanks for the reply by the way.
