Thread: Grousing: Forget the New Mounts!

LOL.
I love it. LOL. Grousing. LOL. LMAO. More like gophers. Tunneling. SHHH. Be quiet the customer is outside. We do not have any answers. We do not want to communicate. Duck your head. LOL.
Rune and the gang scurrying around to avoid everyone. It is hard to be constructive when they WILL NOT listen to the CH community (or any community for that matter).
Game has been a disappointment since day one. NO Planet is equal to size or content of one EQ server. Hutt Faction is missing. Droids are missing (DE love). CH's were too uber but now too weak. I wanted to be Malakai like with a Rancor and be respected at least. Now we are laughed at, ignored and in no way useful. Some will say we are combat support. We may have a small amount of control over PvE. When pets run away it causes more mayhem than group support. Oh they say that we can up our mission payouts. So can a smuggler with less chaos. Add smuggler to that and you have Money Making 101.
Balance? I call it player hating. Don't hate the player hate the game.
This game deserves the ultimate GIGO award. Garbage in, Garbage out. How anyone could be working towards an expansion witout attempting to fix bugs is beyond me. It is like trying to drive to the new car dealership to buy a new car. You get a flat on the way there. And instead of putting on the donut you keep driving. Now the car is all out of control. Oh we cannot steer the car properly but we want that new car and now.

Last week I wandered into a crop of Dune Bantha babies and tamed 3 of them and 2 cu pa with the intentions of giving them away as soon as a saddle could be slapped on them. I logged on this morning, all giddy with anticipation and quickly tamed the Bull Bantha I was saving for myself. Then I pulled out the 3 Dunies and saddle-trained all 3 in one fell swoop. I started to walk away and realized the whole group was just standing there staring at me like a trio of Largemouth sheepdogs. Then realization set in. I issued the "follow" command to confirm my suspicions and confirmed that they are all deaf. My dream of parading the 3 of them through the streets of Theed to put them in the capable hands of younger Handlers gasped its last breath. With a heavy heart, I turned the lot of them loose, except for mine. I won't give someone else a mount that acts just like a vehicle.
Developers, could we please have pet mounts that follow us?

Known bug, introduced in publish 6, which the devs have shown no interest in correcting.

We could be DE's tho, did anyone see the stats on the new combat droids? They didn't get any new models either. Sad SOE very sad.

I am aware that it's a known bug. Doesn't make it any less of a disappointment.

Oh, no question there. I'm very disappointed that it has yet to be addressed by the developers, who seem to be in the "la la la I can't hear you!" mode on this one.

They would see your poke-attack coming and shoot you first. Can't have you griefing them now.
