I'm learning creature handler but only as a supporting skill on the road to bounty hunter. Which skill tree is best to advance up to get strong combat pets/mounts? As I have limited skill points to spend, I want to focus on one part of creature handler.

I hate to tell you this but CH was nerfed badly to prevent people doing this. You would be better off buying a good BE non-ch pet. There are not really good wild pets left. To have any advantage over a non-ch you would have to get pretty far up the CH skill sets. There are no one or two skill trees that will benefit you.

I would suggest going up the taming tree. Use BE pets though, they are much better in combat.

MBH, Carbineer 0003, novice medic, and a decent BE non-ch pet will take you along ways. Of course there are issues with this, but nothing is perfect.

Thanks all for the advice, so sounds like BE pets arethe way to go if at all.
