Thread: Feral Orphan, new creature?

I was on Corellia, as usual, looking for a GPS, when I came across a cat that looked like a dire cat/narglatch, and was called "a feral orphan".
I have never seen one before, and never since. Is this something new? Should I upload a ss?
Let me know, if its not new, I wont waste the time to get the ss up. If it is I will upload a ss here and send it in to swgcreatures.
It had no armor, 20% kinetic and was aggressive with ferocity 9 -- I am guessing CL 20 or so, similar to the narglatches.

i've live on correllia since launch just about and have been hunting for a GPS for over a week now and have never seen one. i wonder if it has babies?

I went to swg.creatures to look it up. It's listed but there is very little information available (there's not even a picture of it). So it's probably very new. In fact, the only comment made about it was posted on the site this morning. Or it's so extremely rare that only 3 people have ever seen it

As far as I know, GSPs are only found on Talus and not Corellia. I just tamed 5 GSP babies there today ... found quite the random hotspot. But again as far as I know have never seen a GSP on Cor nor have I seen this Feral Orphan .... have heard whisperings of new/different critters being trickled in with the patch trickle. Don't quote me on it but wouldn't be the first time they added small content nuggets without any patch notes. And seeing as how Pub 7 is due out Tuesday ........

Doh ... no edit ... just realized you were talking about the Greater Plains Stalker ... lol Me = Idiot ... Look around the Lord Nyax Outpost on Cor, have seen numerous GPS around there but only in singles and no babies

It's a lair boss. Will drop out of a dire cat lair once every ten or so lairs. What's it doing out inthe open I do not know

probably killed some noobie who blew the lair, which would explain why its not full HAM

or it could have spazzed on whatever happened to be near it when it spawned(player, mob, npc, whatever), as gps and swamp stalkers typically do.
