Thread: Now ive seen it all Rancor bull's are rubbish
2) Bull Rancors have the best disease attack in the game hitting for 250 wound dmg per hit. Just because a Bull Rancor runs does not make it weak and from personal experience the bull seldom runs when I send it into battle.
mantigrue screechers have the exact same disease, if not better.hell i tested it on a friend of mine and it ticked him for 487.
ignoring the fact that it would be lunacy to bring them to pvp where the disease would actually have a USE, it's completely pointless in pve where you really have no business using a trophy animal there ANYWAY, and even if it's a low enough target that will be seriously affected by the disease, odds are you'll have killed it before it actually can do any real damage.

Can a screecher last as long as a Bull Rancor in pvp. I dont think so. I have also battletested my screecher fully and have never had that high of disease attack and certainly not as high as a Bull Rancor.
ah yes indeed, because you haven't done it, it must not be possible.
I have both a Bull Rancor and screecher and they are both nice pets for pvp. But the tanking ability of the Bull make is so much better. Then there is the impressive appearance of the Bull Rancor and how much bigger it is then a Rancor. It is one of the coolest looking pets in the game.
I do believe the Bull Rancor spawn is messed up and someone shouldnt have to run 200 plus lairs to find one. I found mine at lair 235 and Tivo who has also found all the other new rares is sitting above 250 lairs to get one. Make them apart of some exceptionally hard creature handller quest where at the end would bea rare baby available to be tamed.

uh, it isn't how long it'll last, or how cool it looks, or how rare it is.the point was that it's lunacy to bring the pet into an *actual* pvp battle. yes having a friend sit there peaced is all fine and dandy but try taking it into a faction battle and seeing how long it lasts, in the case of either animal.
hell unarmed 2 alone does a good job of downing a bull 'cor. let's see how the animals would last if you brought it out in a faction raid.
really, 2 vitality points is not worth the 60 seconds(at most, if thetarget ignores it and goes for you first) of glory it'll have with a disease that can be cured or meditated away, in relation to the fact thatmany serious pvpers will have meditation 4, some doc skills, or a doctor nearby them healing their faction/guild buddies(aka them). now, when they finally fix it so pets don't lose vit in pvp, it'll be a different story. for now it's not worth it.
granted it has decent resists and high ham but you're severely overestimating the abilities of a ch in a REAL pvp situation, even with an animal like this which is rare and valuable to the point of having no business whatsoever in anything pvp-related beyond demonstrating to a buddy the power of its plague strike.
there's a reason for the posts complaining about how chs suck in pvp, you know. causing wounds toonly the base stats of a random ham pool of an opponent who's probably buffed through the nose isn't going to help things.
Its a joke dude
i know this its funny watching a bull rancor runaway from a sharnaff thats all just thought i would share it with my fellow Master CH's
I have pvp with pets and know the downfalls of using them which is why I would like to see pet decay removed. I know only pvp in groups because I know alone I will eventually be overwhelmed along with my pets. I always have at least a partner with me and most importantly do not use my pets like they are mindless killing machines.
I also will admit that I now primarily use bio made pets in pvp. I do this because I know they can be remade if need be, but despite this I have only 4 pets in my collection with vitality loss and only one has more then one point of vitality loss. Everyone complains that ch is a weak profession but I encourage you to try master ch and master tk.And when wookiees get armor watch out because we will be even better.![]()

erm, already am a tkm/mch. what makes it sad is that as a tkm, i have yet to find a mob that i need my pets to take down, unless it's a group of more than 2 nightsister protectors, or the higher levelled, armor hole abusing mobs such as nightsister elders and most of all lord nyax(use my rhoa kwi pack leader on his kiting ass).
though through the efforts of myself and ko-a, we have developed a new, prototype be'd pet template which we will attempt to use on axkva min(the big bad boss b**** at the end of the ns cave), as was its specific design for, after a bit of refining.
