I am at the crossroads regarding what I should go for has a second profession with CH. I was thinking Ranger, pistoleer or BE. Anybody have suggestions or have a good combo working for them. tks in advance for your help on this.

I have been moving up Pistoleer with my MCH. I rarely use my armour now and dont die all that often. I have also been working on Scout to get it mastered so I can do Novice Ranger. I am looking forward to the Camoflauge and the Area Track. I have found pistoleer to be a hoot. With the right pet combos and soom good food ( Let alone Buffs ) you can solo most things. It all depends on your play style and game objectives.

I am a Ranger first, but my secondery skills are CH and Pistoller. I wear no armour, I can solo red cons with my new DX2 and Vanilla my GSP and a good supply of pet stim c's and pc stim b's.
In my case I dropped Heavy Swordsman and Rifleman, I was a novice in both, and took Pistols due to them 1) being usable both close up and at range and 2) doing the same type of damage as my creature companions and 3)it gave me more skill points for Ranger.

I'm CH / Pistoleer with a couple of bits of Medic thrown in so I can use stim B's if my Pet Stims run out.
Pistoleer is a hard one to get in to as the low level specials do you more damage than your enemies. The advice I've seen is to go hell-for-leather on getting to fan shot (level 4 on Pistol Techniques branch). I'm currently on 0,0,3,1 and I should be hitting fan shot any day now. Worth noting the 4th branch is seperate XP from the other 3 (Stances - to do with close-up shootin').
The good thing about Pistoleer is the ability to still kick arse from mid-close range, and then get right in there and still hit your target with pointblankswhile you heal your pet for the umpteenth time at close quarters.
