I finally did it tonight. After more than a month of looking, and getting ranger 4440, And having half the rangers on my server helping, I finally found and tamed a Great Plains Stalker Baby. I would Like to Thank Dorvix (A Fellow MCH/Master Ranger), who searched many times, and Jasa, who actually found the GPS.

What happened is, I was getting ready to log after a really bad day, both IRL and in game, when Jasa comes on the Ranger chat channel and says "Hey, I see a Great plains Stalker. Someone was looking for one right?" Both Dorvix and I started yelling "YES! STAY THERE!" And I told Jasa of my standing offer of 500K to anyone that finds a GPS spawn that results in my getting a baby. He said "Oh, I guess they are rare then. Cool." Everyone added everyone else to friends, we found the nearest shuttle, and the race to get to to spawn point was on. We got there, pulled our tanks, and killed the adult that was there, stipped it for resources (Got 310 Hide off it) and then walked off a short distance, set up a high tech field base, and waited.

There were 2 more adult spawns. We killed them, and waited for the fourth, as on Naritus, there are almost always 4 spawns to a rare. Well, this time, there were only 3. Despondent, I stood at the crafting station making camoflage kits while Jasa and Dorvix went off to search the area. A few moments later, and Jasa gets on Groupchat, yelling he'd found one, then a moment later, Dorvix yells he found one. Incredibly, 2 had spawned next to each other, within 100 meters of each other. We pulled pets, and killed off the adults, then waited for respawn in another HTFB. Of course, the next gps spawned right inside the camp and went berserk instantly, but we had our pets on guard and they saved our butts (Only Jasa was buffed). We killed that one, and looked around for the next spawn of the other area. A few moments later, A little yellow dot appears on radar, and stays yellow.

Dorvix and I yelled "BABY" at the same time. We were in the middle of an area with a lot of critters, both aggro and non aggro, so we were very nervous it would be attacked. I quickly equipped my taming clothes, and ate my taming food, camoflaged myself, and walked up to the baby. IRL, I was nervous as hell, and I had the shakes as I typed in the command for my taming macro. I peaced, and followed. Try 1, nothing. Try 2, nothing. Try 3, it aggrod on me. I ran off, away from all the critters in the area towards a nearby river, hoping that water would cause it to lose interest in me. I was right, and it did. I quickly did a 180 and resumed trying to tame it on the riverbank. As I did that, another GPS, this one an adult, spawned nearby. Dorvix yelled for help, and yelled that they needed to protect the baby at all costs. While Dorvix and Jasa fought the adult, I kept trying to tame the baby. Try 4, nothing. Try 5, nothing. Try 6, SUCCESS! I yelled "I GOT IT!" in groupchat, and stored the little guy as fast as I could so nothinjg would hurt it.

It is now named Mungi, after a cat from one of my favorite Anime, and I dont plan on ever using him for combat. Just for showing off, and playing with. Today started horribly, but it turned out just great

congrats..i think i see a pattern, both of my gps came from 2 spawns close together, the second had 2 spawn literaly on top of each other..what apperared to be one con running toward some murras was actually 2 on top of each other...my pet intercepted it and stopped one, and the second kept going out of the same con circle as if nothing happened..

and i might add, you thought the swamp stalker were hard to control...just wait 2 days until your gps is full grown..hehe
