Howdy, I used to be a MCH but soon dropped it cause it limited me to killing large things. I was wondering if MCH is going to be worth getting back after the CURB is released, plus with the new planet it would be cool to tame new things.
So please let me know what your thoughts are about this, I really miss having my pets
andI hope it will be usefull again.

I'm not in any alpha testing, but from what I have heard, the new combat system is going to be completely different from how it is right now, and yes, CH will be useful and fun again

LOL, ch is extremely useful RIGHT NOW when coupled with another combat profession. I can take on just about anything in the game PvE.
PvP is another story atm. not so useful unless you follow jokers guide.

Well.....Yes, There is nothing a (unbiffed)MCH/elite combat professioncan take out with pets that a buffed player cant kill in a tenth of the time.............Rifle man being the exception in some cases
Now that being said, 70lvls of pets make a difference in payouts, I can "solo" (unbuffed) 14k sharnaf missions on Corellia and me and one BH friend can pull 26k Mokk missions on dant, and its even feasable to do them unbuffed, but those mokks will one hit/DB you if the get with in 15 meters and they agro you..........Not to mention everyting that wants to eat you on Dant going out to your mission......
So if you dont buff, yes its very much worth it, if you buff the only help it will be will be a bit more credits..............

Well I can solo anything right now such as krayts, gorax, and all the high lvl NPC's, but i know its not going to be possible after the CU and will need to rely on groups again whichI like. MCH was the most funI have had soI guess it might be a good idea to get it back. Thanks for the info.

I'm an alpha tester, so what I can say about the CURB is extremely limited
However, a change in combat that will reduce player power (and players being overpowered is a great deal of the problem right now) will make pets more useful, so, naturally, CH as a companion profession to one of the elite combat professions will be very attractive. Groups will be attractive again, too, and pets will make contributions to the group like they used to before buffs and armor got totally out of control.
