It seems any BE pets that where converted using the 'Level to Stats' method need to be redone again, can you post results here please as I'm a devout coward who doesn't want to lose old friends if avoidable.

Also I want to get the best pets pos at the end if pos.

Yeah, some of mine did too and I did, they're mostly adjusting damage becuase of the damage change... instead of a 100 point difference they now apparantly don't have a min damage over 100 and ALL be'd pets prior to yesterday have 0% in state resist, crit hit and crit save chance, and aggro bonus.

I logged on this morning to check my pets, My old BE rancor that survived the first nerfing cant be called or even given the option to adjust him and the 3 lvl 65-70 cats I had made were hit hard. they each had 8-9k hams and did 550-625 damage, I let 1 of them be hit and it was neutered down to 5k ham and 360 damage.

Ok so what happened to all pets being controllable even if that means after changing them there level is over 70, I was led to believe that the max level would just be dropped to 70 and stats altered accordingly.

If you try to convert a pet's level and it goes above 70 then it will convert the stats instead, it will then drop the stats to the level of the pet which is annoying if you want a level 30ish BE pet to end up a level 70 converted, it wont, it will give you a watered down level 30ish pet which as SOE has admitted is worthless to anyone level 30+

Ok, so I went ahead....

I had a junky BE pet that went to CL58, 8432 health, 3652 armor, 143 to hit/defense, 230-240 damage (used to be CL27 or so pre CU).

Tried my CL36 pre CU pet with 10k health and 350 damage....post CU is CL58...post 17 it said it would be a CL81 and converted it to CL58, 5915 health, 657 regen, 3652 armor, 143 to hit/defense, 88-364 damage.

Tried another CL24 pre CU, CL40 post CU, post 17 is now CL58, 7535 health, 2087 armor, 93 to hit/defense, 240-250 damage.....ummmmm....crap.

I notice no regen stat on the guy that changed level instead of stats, so will have to see how the regen goes. And is CL58 the magic number now or somethin? Health and armor are a bit different between #1 and #2.

So, I tried 1 last guy somewhat crappy that wasCL35 pre CU and 10k HAM....it converted to CL56, 10191 health, 2522 armor, 100 to hit/defense, 200-210 damage.

So I guess if damage was bleh, you might keep the high HAM, else it's gonna just be bleh.

So the rest of my pets to be converted....

CL42, 10766 health, 280-290 damage

CL36, 10999 health, 1739 armor, 88 tohit/damage, 310-320 damage (never converted post CU w/ light armor)

Will update if I convert em.

I have only 6 BE pets that survived the first neutering and just dared toreadjust4 of them.

Results are not pretty...

Creature #1. Level 10 Bol had HAM of 6314/3191/1539 and damage of 70-75.

I adjusted stats (not level) and now have a 1715 health bol with damage of 45-240 and 0s everywhere else. Hey, that's funny. His stats are equal in every way to mylevel 10 varactyl. What would Darwin say about this most unlikely coincidence between two distant species? (The one difference isthe varactyl's minimum damage is 40 instead of 45). Now that was worth the 40,000 credits, eh?

Creature #2. Level 25 Dalyrake had HAM of 8217/5632/3886 and damage of 190-200.

I adjusted level. He went to level 46, kept the 8217 health and the damage of 190-200. His "to hit" is 76 and armor is 783, which -- just guessing here -- is eggshell-thin.

Creature #3. Level 50 Gurreck had HAM of 10981/9437/0132 and damage of 380-390. Yeah, my onepowerful pet.

First, I tried to adjust stats, hoping he'd squeeze in under the arbitrary level 70 b.s. Suprisingly, a message popped up that I could not do this because he would now be level 104. Wow! A warning message. I almost kissed the screen. Back to my punishment, I readjusted his stats. Ooooooh, little kitty. Health of 5380, damage 81-342, to hit 107, defense value 107. I'll drop him off at the pound.

Creature #4. Level 48 Choku had HAM of 7319/6547/7265 and damage of 300-310.

I adjusted level. I hit the button and ..............ready for this? ...................he converts to level 72. No warning this time. No warning at all. WTPH!? He's gone. "I lack the ability to tame this pet." Well, you, SOE, lack the ability to run a coherent game. I understand there's a constant juggling of balancing going on, but why in the world do you give a message that one pet will be unusable but not for another pet? Is there some secret here -- that maybe level 72 pets will someday be callable? Whhyyyy...?

I had the same problem your 4th pet has, it seems everything that goes to about CL 71-75 isn't picked up correctly, and we get a just barelyuseless pet :/. So close to perfect, and yet nowhere near close enough....

Oh Devs, why do you keeppenalizing us CHs? Pre-CU bio pet level 10 with 10k HAM and 60% kenetic resists ... very very very very expensive but he kept my crafting character alive out in the boonies tending and setting harvesters. First post-CUcall had to adjust pet andselected adjust level rather than stats and he was adjusted to level 20 but the stats were still reasonable.Of course he could no longer be used by my crafting character but he was about equal to a "elite" Female Narglatch at level 22. Publish 17 comes out, I call the pet, and am again told to either adjust level or stats ... I pick level and he is now level 40 and no beter than a level 40 natural pet ... that is a total nerf in my opinion

The execution date is set ... the tortured screams of tens of thousands of beloved pets and their masters will resonate throughout the galaxies ... cover your ears and cry!

Ok, worked up some bravery and thought maybe one more pet had low enough damage. I tried ...
CL42, 10766 health, 280-290 damage

Said it was over CL80 or so and made it a generic CL42.... CRAP!!!!

What other choice do we have though? Better to have something usable I suppose. Until they change it again of course and we have to respec them a 3rd time.

Think I am going to try a level23(pre cu)Cu Pa(CL 44CU)I have, don't want to lose him he served me really well grinding lower level CH and still was a great mount but is the only one that I can bring myself to convert atm.

Keep the stats coming it may help others decide what to do, not that this makes any sense to me what so ever.
