Is anyone else having a problem naming their pets? I have a Bloodstained Merek baby, that I had not named yet (yes I take my time naming my pets ) Today when I logged in, I decided to give him a name and, I am unable to name him I have tried more than one name thinking ok...the system isn't allowing the name, but still no go. Also I tamed a new BE gurrek this morning and same thing.

Also something else I noticed, the merek and the Gurrek were both fully trained, with commands I dont use. The gurrek had commands upon taming it. This happened one other time with a Seething bol Crusher baby I tamed. /bugged it ingame. Not sure if this is intended. Just frustrating that I cant name my pets, and Im really hoping that this is just a bug

Any input from other CH on the naming issue would be great.

This sounds like a definite bug. No pet should have pre-programmed commands in it when you first tame it. I would /bug it.

I just named my kimo Meathead after 4 commands. So it did work. BEs also have another method now to name a pet, and that's simply the name of the deed becomingthe name of the pet. So I named my CL51 7785 health, 3043 armor, 79-337 damage razor cat Tyler in this way. It doesn't have the () around the name. So there are now the original method of naming or renaming, and the BE creation method to give pets names. Still working on getting the CL to 48so I can group with a female narglatch. Havta try to keep the damageclose tothe narglatch tho so it'll be able to tank.

Ok I figured out the problem! I was in my house when I was trying to do all this. For some reason being in a house bugged me. Same thing has been happening on my crafter alts, with schematics not showing up when using a droid, or my storage droids not being able to be opened.(Known Issue on the DE board). Same thing I guess is happening with Pets. Just took some time and much frustration for me to figure it out
