Creature Handler Archive

Hey all, a struggeling novice creature handler here, I was just wodnering if you guys could fill me in on the info you know about the new CU and how it will affect our pets. Will we still be able to use lv 10 and below pets? If so, I'm guna find some that I like and start growing them before I lose the chance.

There won't be any one able to tame new wild ones and no BE's to make new ones and even if you have old BE deed no one can train them for you.
I've been finding some (10) CuPa babies and (10) Dwarf Bantha babies around Bestine which I am leveling up and training with pet specials. Who knows if those pet specials will work, but I'm giving it a try. My level 10 BE Gurreck was only able to learn 2 specials which is a bummer.

I sure wish I had not spent endless hours taming, grinding and learning almost all the pet special abilities because I could have used that time towards the Village FS grind. But I wanted to enjoy CH. They got me with the red herring of that and the Taming Necklace.

btw subscriptions will go up $7 come Feb when they implement the new story line... yipee!!

Thank you Lyah for that very thorough answer. I really do appreciate it and wish you teh best of luck in swg. I suppose that means I should start finding some cool lv 10 creatures to buy from a bioengineer and start growing them before I miss teh chance. 10 more days...
