Thread: Idea for Pets in the Data Pad

Sorry if this has been talked about already, but I had this idea and I wanted to share it.
I have a bunch of high level pets in my Data Pad right now that I won't be able to use after the big change. I was reading over the thread that says not to delete these pets because they may be useable one day in the future. This is where I got my idea.
What if the Devs were to transfer the pets in our Data Pad into little trophies we can use to decorate our homes. Something like the miniature statues we get as Veteran rewards. This way we could keep our pets without cluttering up the Data Pad, we could display our high level creatures for all to see... And if they ever bring back the CH profession we could have the option to turn our trophies back into usable pets.
What does everyone think about this idea?

Not a bad idea, even if they just simplify it to deeding them. I've spent too many credits on pets to have them stay dormant in my datapad.

Yes please, let us re-deed our pets (maintaining current xp and stats though), so we can at least drop by to give em a hug now and then. I'm gonna miss em until they figure out that we aren't going to give up until we get them back. Besides, i do not trust that they won't delete them from our datapads conveniently in an "unfortunate bug" or something.
