Did you know musicians and dancers get def mods in master boxes lol.


It's not unreasonable to ask for defenses in the skill trees, we don't need anything uber making us supermen/women. With the way pets hold agro it's actually needed, i don't wish to use a cdef pistol so mypet holds agro lol. yes exagerating but making a point.


Also in defense of Doctors "Not combat medics, hense the word combat in the title" I think the hate system generating large amounts of ago onto a healer is wrong also. The new titles and definitions post cu for professions does not meet the expectations of even the dev department lol.


TKA = I'm a tank and hit for 120 dam watch the creatures run right past me for the rifleman who hit it for 1500 dam lmao.


Sorry I am straying but we are not the jack of all trades either and a little +25 total def would be nice no matter how little it may help in the end.

If you want to draw aggro, by all means toss some bacta spray out and get lots of attention! It's a far superior taunt to anything a TKM or Jedi 4xxx defender can muster!

This is made in hopes that sometime soon we may actually achieve this in game.


Creature handlers need melee/ranged defenses. We are a combat profession. As such we have armor qualifications, specials, ect. but no defenses. If a combat medic can have defenses then we should too. This seriously affects people who have CH apposed to people who have 2 master weapons professions. I dont care if its less then the other professions since people may consider our pet the "defenses" but we need SOME. This is one of the most important things needed to this profession right now and a seriously hope someone will listen.

You could argue that our pets give us a a boost to our defences, through Self sacrifice, and aggression 3 etc


Plus they give us a boost to our attack even if they only hit for 150 for example, its an extra 150 ontop of our attack.


Other proffessions dont get these bonuses.



However i would like to see some added , just food for thought

I agree with us having defenses, i am also agaisnt us bein tied in the new system to be lvl80 to use lvl80 pets, i dont see BH, rifleman, fencer and so onneed to be lvl80 to use there best weapons.

great point. currently i have one pet that has self sacrifice (L3). it works, but to kill the animals too. i have to use my t21, which still draws agro, and the pet, even though level 69, is then quickly overtaken by the 8 pickets attacking it. so, in the end, the abilities can only help for so long before its back to just you and the enemies.


Right now, it seems, there is a really big need for at least a small defense boost. i can take a beating, but my armor isn't invincible. plus, if i am going to go out into the middle of dathomir to try and tame a baby rancor, don't you think i should be able to stay alive, while running away from it, while it takes its sweet time chasing me agroed? even BE clothes can't garauntee the crazy level 69 critter won't suddenly try to rip your arm off, and i'd just like a little reassurance when i go tame.


I'm not saying give us +200 defense bonus, anything will help. lol. right now, if your just a MCH, its almost the same as standing out there naked, covering yourself in seasoning, and punching a rancor! exagerated, yes, but easily imaginable.
