Thread: Is MCH worth d
if you dont mind grinding a lot then you can make some excellent critters with the abilities available - If you dont like grinding at all then you will miss out on a lot . For example I recently tamed a young reptilian flyer with Agression L3 built in , trained it up to open a further 12 ability slots and so far it has Thick Skin 3, Vigorous Health 3, Intimidate L1 Guarded Stance L1 and Lightning Reflexes L1 - This leaves me with 3 slots that I intend to increase Lightning reflexes to L3 and have one ability left that I have not yet decided on. Already this pet can effectively tank Krayt Dragons up to Level 86 Giant Canyons (with healing and pet stim use) The aggression £ means I never attract aggro and can stand at 30m away and shoot at will.
This has taken a long time to find all the abilities required -and a long time to grind them to be learnt - So if you are willing to put in the grind time CH can be a very effective profession

as novice u can tame tame critters upto Level 12 (non-agro if u dont have the racial tame advantages like wookies). try to find a Wrix on corellia (2K+ north of coronet) they are nice looking cats and good starter pets.
Any pet you tame that doesn't have an ability - train it up with commands and get xp that way before setting it free. Have fun - checking in datapad for those abilities is like going into a lucky dip, exciting every time
