that was fun, i did mine.....im lvl 80 and the jagged fang is lvl 55. i tried it a few times solo and was unable to do it. so i brought a friend along and together we accomplished it.

im trying to name is and having difficulty, could someone tell me how to do that again? maybe im doing something wrong.

I managed to pull Jagged Fang a bit to the side so I could fight it without its buddies jumping in too... Did it alone with the help of Salem, my level 67 gurreck - but that valactyl really has a thing for KD and Dizzy...

To name a pet train it a few commands (I always use four) that have its name in front of the command (you can retrain the command alone later the name will stay) - for example "<name> stay", "<name> guard" etc...

so four commands with the name in front of the actual command? then do you have to use the command a few times to get it to stick?

Have you tried Jade' or something to along the lines there.

no not jade, im trying ziggy or iggy or something like that, cause the varactyl really does look like an iguana to me'

I actually just chose a different name, as I have had this happena few times now. I wanted to name a Shaupaut "GrapeApe", however it seemed that becausethe name contained the letters r-a-p-e in sequence, itwouldn't take (took me a bit to figure that out though as it didn't click right away LOL).

Ihave noidea what is wrong with Jade though, especially asItried Jade' as you suggested and it worked. Weird.

ANyone know the freakin spawn time on Fang, been here about an hour, nothing...I guess i might be the first to answer as it was freshly killed as i walked up.

Answered yesterday, We killed her then waited 1 hr and 10 min before she spawned. Have heard reports as short as 1 hr and as long as 1 hr and 15 min

to answer your question about names you will NOT be able to name it jade because of the star wars name filter if you read any of the novels or comics there is a character named Mara Jade who marries Luke Skywalker. It basically wont let you name pets after star wars characters.

Yep, it popped at the 70min mark according to my chat log. YAY i got one. Im not sure if im actually gonna use it at this point as my Pre Pub 8 rancor would rip it a new one if they were to ever do combat, and he's only a level 50. Same with my Pre Pub 8Gurreck. I'll have to read more on how CL actually effects the combat as there seems to be a damage multiplier in there somewhere.
