Sad to see Vert go, but in all honesty, it's about time some-one else was given the chance to represent us.

These few days of sweating it out made me think about the correspondent position and what it means to be one. I had doubts whether I could pull it off if I was picked. The task seemed daunting to me, especially since I'd been gone from CH so long and all the little things are still cloudy in my mind. I put in my app because I wanted to help CH in some way. It's strange, all these thoughts that go through your head while you're waiting for the inevitable answer. I'm so glad it wasn't me, because it takes such a huge load off my mind. I know Ko-aIri will do an awesome job. I had the privilege of meeting him recently. He's quite knowledgeable when it comes to CH. He'll be a great correspondent.

And lets not forget to have patience and let him do his job. Give him the benefit of the doubt. We've all seen his posts and know he's passionate about CH. There shouldn't be a doubt in peoples' minds that he is here for us and will do what he can.
