Hi,

Just wondering about pet resists. I have a lvl 25 sharnif that has been in my data pad for eons and I have never been able to use it, but i can see its resists in the pet info bit to the left of the data pad. I also have six other pets, but I can not see any of their resists data, but for example, when I call a tabbage, I can examine it and see that it has (I think) 10% energy and 15% kenetic (or somthing like that anyway) the same happens with the other pets. So I guess my question is, do these pets have the resists, if so then why do they not show up in the data pad. Has somthing changed, and the Shanriff is just a very old pet that is acting differently?.

The same thing happens when taming, I examine a baby it gives me the resists, but when it turns up in my data pad, no resists are visible untill I call and examine again?

Any ideas?

Beswa.

BE pets show their resists in the datapad. Wild tames do not. Both show them when out of the pad and are examined.

It is simply a display issue due to their different creation.

Ok, so I know we can't see them, but they definitely seem to be there. I've started doing some testing to try to determine which pets might have the best resists. I am doing several battles against the same creature at the same level and taking the median damage. It seems to me that even tho there is a damage range, there's typically 1 damage number being done the most. So here's what I'm seeing

CL45 60 Kinetic BE pets (kept stats): 321

CL30 1217 kinetic BE pet (kept level): 282

CL62 arachne webmaster: 203

CL68 blood-frenzied boar wolf: 203

CL68 giant angler: 192

CL51 graul mauler: 187

CL58 merek harvester: 174

I'm just curius if anyone else has been experimenting with damage done to their pets and can post what they thinktheir best kinetic resist pet seems to be. I still have a few more pets to go thru....

Meh...did a bit more testing, take those numbers with a grain of salt. Not saying I'm wrong just yet, but trying to do a even larger sampling base.

As a BE, I can see what resists come through in a DNA sample. 2 i tested were the Stoneskin Handak and the Blurrg raptor.

A couple of days ago:
Stoneskin has exactly the same resists are pre-CU.
Blurrg raptor had 3391 to all.

If you want, I can sample a few critters for you and let you know what the resists look like....that is if I can stay in game 5 minutes without crashing to the desktop.
