bump/ anyone else able to test this? it happened to me 3 times. once with the rebel behind the flag in theed, once somewhere in keren, and once when attacking a cloaked jedi. attacking a cloaked jedi with a creature will cause you to loose connection.

make sure your creature can see the target. if it cant it will get stuck in combat and you will not be able to store or give any other commands to your creature. you will have to log out and hope that the creature has been stored.
another bug along the same lines. if you are a BH/CH, do not send your creature after a cloaked jebi. it will get stuck in combat and you cannot cancel it! and when the jebi uncloaks to attack it or you, you will loose connection to the server. yes it happened to me....

I've gotten that twice in conjunction with another bug. While running missions, i use my pet to pull mobs. But recently my group has been having a problem where the mission would depspawn shortly after arriving. If my pet was agro'd to something when it despawned, it would then not respond to anything else. I had to have a friend incap it so I could store it.

It's nice someone found a good idea of what caused it....but something tells me that it would take a ton of effort for someone to fix it, seeing as how it takes them an eternity to code in even simple things such as fixing vitality loss. (Speaking of which, it's back :/).

Pet combat bug also happens if your pet gets agro'd but dont kill the offending enemy.. When I ride my creature through Yavin for example, I can either stop and kill every @#$^ gray con that agro's (pre-yavin fix of course) or just deal with the fact that my pet will be bugged when I get to my destination and Ill have to /logout to get it fixed.

Yep, hit it twice ... yet another instance of how the devs don't consider CH for a moment in coding, this had to be added by terrain combat features, and it occurs in *any* hill environment with pets used in combat (gee, are there a couple of those?) .... should have showed up in 10 minutes of testing CH ..... if they tested CH, that is.

When I send a pet to attack a creature, and then call the pet back in order to draw the creature away from its lair, the pet can become stuck on combat. If the creature stops, for any reason,the pet willrefuse to attack any other creature, or even the original creature. The only way I've found to get around this, is to lead the pet back to the original creature.

try shuttling to another planet auto store will take care of that problem. thats what i had to do durring the first few days of cu when i was trying different templant with ch.

Yea, it will autostore it, but that pet will count against your 3 pet limit, until you log out. I've had this same bug happen, and now I know why. Sigh.

aha, so that's what happened to me in a PVP fight. And guess what, i once again lost the fight because ch is completely bugged.

I got that problem too. Only did not know what the cause was, Informational post, thanks, nice picture btw.
