Have you had the problem that once your pet is engaged in combat that you can't get it to attack a target other than the one it's already fighting? As well, once that target is dead, I find that I still can't get my pet to attack anything else, it just stands there.

If you haven't already tried this, command your pet to follow you. You can then immediately command it to attack another target.

Maybe someday they will fix this glitch, but in the mean time command "follow me" then "attack" works.

(I also use "follow me" when using my pet to draw off a single mob from it's lair. I stand at least 55m or more away, command pet to attack, then as soon as creature aggros the pet, I call the pet back to me. The mob follows the pet back to me, and I don't have to worry about accidently getting too close and rest of lair going aggo. Pets can't tank, so if you're going to have to take aggro anyway, you can at least do it one mob at a time).
