Thread: Can We Still Take 3 Pets Out?

Is using 2 or 3 pets still viable or do they get ripped apart in seconds by CL 70+ mobs?
I've just started experimenting with my 3 Female Narglatches.
They can very easy kill a lvl 79 Bantha. It just takes a little longer without me helping.
I'm going to try them on some othe creatures today, Rancors and such.
So yes, still very much viable ![]()
...Female Narglatch that I couldn't store (not visible anywhere, and wouldn't store even after logging out)...
Yes, MCH can still have 3 pets.
I've had that same problem, but choosing to store and relogging solved the problem for me. I've had so much trouble trying to keep my 3 narglatches (or any 3 pets for that matter) with me and obeying my commands, that I don't use them anymore. It just isn't worth the hassle. I use a single pet now so I don't have to spend 2 minutes warmup before every fight trying to call my pets, get them grouped, or stutterstep between missions just so they can keep up with me.
It is sad the limited number of viable pets that we can actually use, especially in the 3 creature setup. Sure, we can use 3 female narglatches, but that forces most MCH to use the same pets. This cookie-cutter combat system was what the CU was supposed to address, but seems to have ignored the CH. The only reason these elite pets are viable is they have 4-5k more ham than non-elite creatures of the same level. I'd be willing to bet money that they will make these untamable in the future or adjust their elite status. It follows the current trend.
At this point, I'm a MCH because I enjoy having my pets, not because it is usable as a combat profession.
This is why CAMPS are still a very viable option for CH.
I make a few basic camp kits before I go hunting.
I use my Bike to travel to the lair(s). Once at the Lair I setup a camp and call my pet(s) with no delay. Group them and proceed to wipe out the lairs.
After combat store the pets, make sure the camp is gone (I usually disband it before combat actually), hop on your bike and ghead off to the next lair.
Rinse and Repeat.
In this way I am able to use my 3 female Narglatches on all lair(s).

Well for most part so far i been using three pets out got 3 lvl 22 fambaa's , So if you do the math that would be a total level of 66 to use all three at once but since being a master ch im able to have them out . The fambaa's are still growing but should be fun to use in combat . Since being wild fambaas it dont matter to much at all if they get hurt or at some point released to the wild . Since also being a master bioenginer i can verry well make replacements incase if i need to.
For the most part yep we sure can still use three pets at once just got to watch the creature levels your using .
Sounds You got hit by a "pet-wont-store"-bug. Cause unknown. Fix: take a shuttle and try to store later, or simply relogg.
Deleting your pet was unnecessary Im afraid.![]()
JediSpam, did you happen to be standing in one of your houses ? I have noticed a bug where if you are standing in your house you get this message saying you already have to many of the type of pet out or something similar to that. If I go outside I was able to call 3 pets then. Also, when this little bug happen it makes it look like the pet is 'called' and the store command will not put your pet away. The only way to clear this is to go into ctrl-d and store it from the pets radial menu in there.
Hope this helps. ![]()

I haven't had this problem with a creature pet, but it happens with my droids often. It usually happens if I lose conection and when I reconnect, my droid has vanished and my datapad control shows the store button but it does nothing. What I've come to notice is if you examine the radial menu closely....the Store button is on top and a couple buttons off to the side is a call button that normally isn't there. When this call button is there is does work and you can recall the droid and then use the store button at the top.
Again, I don't know if it's the same with creature pets, but it sounds like it might be the same thing.
