I will be there
I am writing my questions out now and hope will finally get some answers about our profession starting with when we will be getting our publish. I also want to know when pets will be fixed with what specials will be restored to pets.

I'm making my list and checking it twice. I have lots of questions/issues to bring up. So far CH still has its own forum, let's hope that doesn't change.
Enigma, Spreadsheet, anybody else- see you there! I'll be the guy with grey in his hair - what's left of it

Ko-a, Please, do forward anything you like! I've been scouring the forum for issues, questions, suggestions etc. that I can take with me, but I'm sure I've missed some things. I'd appreciate more ideas.
And Spreadsheet, yay for you for handing out list to the Devs!

I sent you folks (enigma_writer, spreadsheet, DaBudo2) the questions in PM this morning, but just in case you don't get them or anyone else wants to chime in at FF here's what I put together to ask, in no particular order:
1. Fighting from the back of a mount has been broken since the CU went Live. Prior to the CU, it was possible to use "default attack" from the back of a mount. This is no longer the case, as all attacks post-CU seem to be considered "specials." Creature mounts still slow down when the rider is attacked, however the rider can't attack back and so are faced with "dismount or die." Are there any plans to restore this functionality? Or can you remove the mount slowdown when we're attacked?
2. Pet movement speed in many cases has been significantly reduced since the CU. Pets that could once almost keep up with landspeeders and definitely could keep up with a mounted rider now move at walking pace or very slightly faster. Are there any plans to restore pet speed so that we don't have to continually store/recall our pets to travel? If not, can the 15 second call timer be removed to facilitate the inconvenience of having to wait 15 seconds to use our weapons, unlike every other combat profession?
3. Just after the CU, our former correspondent Vertexon posted a developer response to 3 questions that stated the display of creature resists and the use of special attacks would be fixed "soon." As this is crippling to the creature handler profession, and akin to someone blindly buying a weapon without knowing its statistics, can we get a firmer timetable when "soon" is? As the game stands now, our pets are skin bags with a level attached to them, which is very distressing to many in the CH community.
4. Creature handler pets are unable to tank effectively, as their damage output is often considerably lower than any combat profession a player might have. This is currently the number one issue. As such, the role of CH is diminished and questionable, as our pets don't deal enough damage to be useful in a "nuker" role nor do they have any kind of skills for "crowd control" at this time. Even the new BE pets since Publish 17 with an aggro bonus don't seem effective. Would it be possible to add a command like "/petTaunt" that a CH could use to make their pet more effective in a tanking role?
5. Many creature handlers have lost beloved pets to the level pass on Dathomir/Yavin 4, as several of the wild creatures were raised above CL 70 and are now uncallable even if the CH had one previously tamed. A prime example of this would be every form of Kliknik from Yavin 4. Similarly, post-CU poorly converted BE pets that went above level 70 are not re-converting and cannot be called. Are there any plans to be able to convert these wild/BE pets to CL 70 to be used by the CHs who have sentimental attachments to these pets, or could our control level perhaps be raised to CL 80 so that we can use at least the wild pets, which all fall in the CL 70-80 range?
6. Since the CU, the spawning system has been changed. Previously when you found a wild, non-lair spawn, you could kill the creature there and it would respawn a few minutes later, up to 3-4 times. This was a common method used to find tamable babies, as many of the best and rarest CH pets were single wild spawns. Post-CU, when you kill a spawn it does not come back, and the first spawn is never a baby. This has rendered extinct several of the most desirable CH pets like the Great Plains Stalker & Swamp Stalker, and has prevented several new creatures marked "Tamable: Yes" like the Stoneskin Hanadak and Blurrg Raptor from spawning babies. Can we get the spawn system reverted to pre-CU with a few multiple respawns in the same spot to at least give a chance of a baby spawning?
I've raised all these issues of course, but it never hurts to repeat them face to face and maybe you'll get some sort of immediate answer.
We can always hope.
