Thread: BIO Mini's & Monsters??
apparently pet level when using new dna affects pets size example a level 1 grual will be super tiny maybe the size of a dwarf eopie, while a level 70 gnort would be the size of a torton,...unfortunately I have not found a BE yet who I can get a mini grual from to test it, I would love to have one tho so I am gonna keep looking. Has anyone else tryed this yet?
This was about 3-4 days ago.
Now last night I pulled it out and it is a cl 40ish I believe (it still has about 2-3 days left of growth to it) and it is already the size of a grand Wrix.
I love it!
I am glad this is now in game and I hope it truely is intended. Some critters should not be torton size though...but to see a cat bigger then the wild spawns that we see in game it is nice.
I had a BE make me a Hurrton as well the other night. it is a cl 65 I think. But it is still in my inventory. I am going to get him as a real pet today I think. Would be cool to have a nice sized dog critter in the game as oppossed to the puppy version we normally would get.
Some of the BEanimals have minimum levels. For instance a rancor has a minimum level of CL35. I can craft a rancor out of nothing but yard trash and, even though the stats will suck big time, the level will still be CL35. So, don't expect to see any mini-rancors running around. I believe a graul also has a minimum as well.
Also, as anyone that has spent any time on the BE forum the last couple of days would know, because a CL10 animal is smaller now, many of the non-creature handler mounts being crafted by BE's cannot be trained as mount. They are too small. Needless to say, BE's aren't exactly thrilled about that.
