Thread: Whats the best supporting combat prof for CH? Rifleman, Pistoleer or other?

I'm wondering about this as I'm returning to MCH (1/2/1/1 ATM in CH) and after dabbling in BE and deciding it wasn't worth the crafting effort, I've decided to go to MCH and master one of the professions off of marksman in which I'm already master.

I love commando 0-0-4-0.....not really for the damage, I just go for the buggest gun I can get my hands on...

I'm looking for the best one combat wise, as in what will do the most damage or most effective in supporting the creatures.

I'd have to say go with pistols, because they tend to damage the H bar the most, which is what your critters tend to damage the most. It complements the critter's attacks.

Rifleman is the way to go. 4k+ Damage to mind and fires every second at master. I have been Pistoleer Carbineer and now Rifleman. For me Rifle is the best of the three.

Rifleman it is then I was already thinking of going rifleman, but I wanted to see what the opinions of my peers were as far as supportive combat profession.
