Thread: In keeping with SWG?
- [quickly] I want to have the ability to add armor segments to select pets, taking armor 1 (Light) back up to armor 2 (Medium); I don't envision 100's of ch's running around with GSP's again, if the armor is limited to uber pets. How about a rancor with spiked armor? Something crazy, but "in keeping with Star Wars " cool looking.
- For some of our vicious cats that seem to get soloed pretty easily - and I know, I'm near TKM and can solo any pet in the game in under 60 secs - let's add: vibro claws, or some sort of talon/claw upgrade for our pets in PVP.

- Gonna keep saying it: /duelpet <target> I still wanna be able to duel my pets w/o the enemy pet going agro on me. Great for betting/bragging. Not to compare a pet with a Jedi fight, but when Jedi's fight everyone gathers around - so how about FSP's (Force Sensitive Pets) as a special on super elite spawns? Can you imagine A Singing Mountain Clan Rancor dueling another pet, but using some lightning strike on it?

Blastcypher, these are all interesting ideas. I particularly like the idea of additonal armor for high level pets. Spiked armor on a rancor would be very cool. Don't know how much they'd do, though, as anyone with a brain in PvP goes afterer the CH, not the critter, assuming they can identify who the CH is. The primary purpose of creature pets is to tank for players.
Adding offense to some creatures (like vibro claws on cats) might make them a lot less of a joke in pet v. player situations, but realistically, pets aren't there to deal damage, unless you've got a pack of 3 GSPs on a TKA four months ago, before TKAs got all their additional abilities to take the place of creatures as the primary tanks in the game.
A pet duel system would be great...would avoid having pets mistarget masters when the whole idea is that the pets are supposed to go after each other.
