Thread: Is this a rhoa kwi pack leader baby I see before me?

This has happened to me so often its not even funny any more. For the record I'm currently a 3/4/3/3 CH and I've been working my way up the tree since shortly after the european release.
I was out on Dathomir last night just generally shooting things. I finnished up the gaping spider layer I was on (some reasonably good meat there on Chimaera right now), and headed off in a random direction for the next target. I find a layer with a rhoa kwi guardian about 60 meters away from it. I hit the layer once and waited a bit to see what would spawn and of course a rhoa kwi pack leader baby apeared (its listed as rare on the Official Rare Pet List). Of course I can't tame it, I can only tame up to level 45.
So far I have seen, and been unable to tame due to level:
2 gaping spider queens
1 rhoa kwi pack leader
1 arachne widow
and 1 mantigrue screecher
Which ever way you look at this, I'm either damn lucky (to have seen them) or damn unlucky to have been unable to tame them. Luckly I was able to find a MCH on Dathomir last night to tame the kwi, so it didn't go to waste.

I too have experianced the pain of finding a Mantigrue screecher and not being able to tame it. It sucks soooo bad.

May I thank you because you gave me a shout and was able to come along last night and get this baby. It was not until today I found the "rare" list and did not realise this was a rare last night. So a major thanks - I now intend going on a "rare" list hunt would like to own these pets. Oh how I love SWG just when I think come to the end of a profession new things open up.

Just glad someone could tame it, the other times I've found rares there never seems to be another CH on the planet.
But anyway, you can bet once I finally get high enough to tame these pets I'll never see another one.
