Ok so these commands use your mind pool. Haha so I was sampling for DNA with my two new kittens (my momma cat had babies ) and I was out of mind so I had to rest. I sit down, not near any aggro mobs. I tell my kittens to do trick 1, then trick 2. Lofl. I got incapped. Mind incapped. Beautiful.

Also every so often it's telling me I can't have my pets do a trick at this time or something like that. I have mind (as noted above I guess that doesn't matter), they aren't doing anything else, like engaged in combat. Any know if there is a timer or something?

they "your pets cannot perform a trick at this time" thing is supposed to prevent you from incapping yourself. well at least it's supposed to....

Ok, my story. I am a career entertainer. Yeah, I'm that dying breed of people that stay at the keyboard and actually try to entertain my patrons. And you though CH was undergoing attrition

ANYway, I'm working up the scout tree to hit CH. I have a surprising income from tips and ungodly patience; BE pets are well within my price range. I'm looking for pets that do tricks that make sense when done to music. My plan is to build a macro (I'd rather chat with my audiance than keep my fingers flourishing) that has /tellpet lines in it to get two pets to dance to my tune. Someday I hope to add a Rancor or some other way too big thing with the name "BubbaTheBouncer" as the third pet.

Again: I'm looking for pets that do tricks that make sense when done to music. Can I get any tips in that hunt?

hmm, lets see, the spider type creatures (anglers) kinda spin around in a circle, blurgs and kwis kinda bob back and fourth, banthas bob their heads, hanadaks do a little dance, cat type creatures jump on their feet, dewbacks wag their tails, quenkers are kinda small (so they would fit in a cantina well) an jump on their feet, i think, i might be remembering wrong. thats all i can think of at the moment, i hope its some help.

Well at this point I got a Kaadu mount that has a lovely backflip I might be using now in an act IF I could get it in a building *twitch*.

But it also has, as its second trick, raising its leg. That's just sad. I'm just looking for something that might actually look like a dance, not a 'ooo he can lift a foot for a full second!'

All of the Monekyish ones do a little dance for trick 2 and pound the ground for trick 1. I love woolamanders, which can come in a wide variety of colours plus they are smaller. They would probably be a great choice. Also back when I used to dance (oh so long ago) I used to get a droid to get in wedge formation, and then would twirl around as I moved trying to stay in formation (looked pretty good).

What you want are Purbole's. They are low CL 17&18. They look like a monkey. They do a dance for trick2 and pound their fists on the floor for trick1. I believe they are common on Naboo. Just a note, the trick commands use your mind for each trick. So, you will want to keep an eye on that or use mind food.

I have a desert squill that does a little ground slapping dance as mentioned. And he's not too big; should definitely fit inside a cantina.

Narglatches actually do a cool Trick 1 where they do a headstand on their front paws, and then while in that position, lift up one hand, then the other. Dunno if that would be something you're looking for. I'm not sure what they do for Trick 2.
