I was on Dathomir actually looking for a Gaping Spider Queen when I come across a Rhoa Kwi Pack leader baby. This is the second time I've seen one of these but the first time I saw one it despawned on me. I hop off my bike and hit the mask scent button and start creeping forward towards it trying to not get aggroed by all the Gaping Spiders in the area. The first time I go through the motions I get the "you failed to tame the creature" message. So now I'm thinking "great, I'm gonna get aggroed any second by all this stuff around me" or it's just gonna poof into thin air again. I try again and the little thing aggros me. I'm sure all CH's know the "hit peace and run away drill" so I did that for a while until it stopped aggroing me. Then I hit mask scent again and ran up to it again. I was so happy to see the successful tame message. Anyway, that makes rare number2 of course I'd give both of my rares (Thune Grassland Guardian and now the Rhoa Kwi Pack Leader) for a Mantrigue Screecher but I'll keep looking for one. Just thought I'd share my find with you guys and gals.

I got one of the Rhoa Kwi Pack leader awhile ago and was so happy. But after a while of using it in battle, didn't really like it. Compared to my other pets it just didn't seem to stack up. I was disappointed cause I always wanted a lil T-Rex too. I would love to find a gaping spiderqueen though

BTW how is the Thune Grassland Guardian?

If u wanna use rares in combat the bull rancor and mantigrue screecher are both solid with plague strike.

But i realy love my arachne widow lvl58 12400HAM light armor 40% kin res 40%energy (highest tameable kin/energy res with light armor, if you donot include frenzied graul) ... and strong poison too....

Ya now-a-days I don't really need the animals though. I take them mostly for show and so they get their excersise. For combat I really like my bio Rancor and my bio Hermit Spider. They have awesome resisits and high dmg/ham. And of course the sucky thing is no matter how good they are they are worthless in PvP.

Like you though I do grab the rare ones just to have and I love the thrill of going in and gettign them
