I know it isn't a big deal but I got me an Arachne Webmaster baby tonight.

It along with getting two Arachne Warrior babies gave me the rush I love in this game. Dang Webmaster baby kept ping-ponging between two spider nests about 100 feet (yards?) apart. The whole timeI had my finger over the burst run button while frantically hitting the tame button. The baby was just walking around. No popping needed. I always seem to get in trouble when I have to pop em out. With a couple of Webmaster adults and half a dozen Warriors milling around I was kind of worried I would lose the darn thing. I had already come close to getting incaped trying a pop at another spider nest about 1 hour previous. Then, about 10 minutes later,I get me a Blurrg baby has a side order just standing there with Momma.

Of course during my night of finding a Webmaster one of my Toxic Merek Battlelords has to get a DB done to it and thus a vitality loss. It was a Webmaster that did it. Oh well, not too bad. The poor guy did his job. He gave me time to run. A loss of vitality on a TMB for one Webmaster baby, two Warrior babiesand a Blurrg baby. I figure its a fair trade.

Now I want one of them Gaping Spider Hunters. For some reason the planet Dathomir scares me.

Webmasters are the toughest tames in the game in my opinion. I know exactly how you felt because I've tamed my own.

That being said, I've played out MCH as much as I can. The only thing left for me is roleplaying with pets, which I can do with non-CH. I've decided to move on to PVP instead, since it's another aspect of the game I've recently become interested in. Once you've reached the point I have with CH (frustrations, boredom, etc.) you kinda want to move on to different things. I know I changed my tune over time and you may eventually too. Don't rule out PVP in your future, because when you do (like I did), you'll find yourself eating your words. hehe

Good luck with CH and I hope you get months of enjoyment out of it.

I am one of those people who actually have two accounts. I expected much from this game in the beginning. Also, I don't have a life so two accounts does not set me back at all in the money department. I do not forsee me modifying the toon I have now has myCH toon. He is an MCH/TKM and I like him just the way he is. He can handle himself fairly well in the PvE department has long has he does not get to cocky. Which sometimes happen and then gets incaped for his trouble. For some reason, every once in a while, the toon gets it into its pixel head that he is hot **edit** and then promptly gets knocked down a peg or two. But because of his love of pets will not do so well in PvP (he is only half a PvP toon after all).

That being said. I have another toon that I am gromming for the big jump into PvP when I feel confident and bored enough to jump into PvP. Even though I think that PvP in its current form in this game is broke I do want a toon that can kind of handle itself.Although the road I am going down with this toonmay not the best, it is the road I want to travel. That toon will be a Master Smuggler/Master TKA. This will also be the toon that will play with other professions to see what they are like.

Nice catches you got there. Nothing quite like the feeling of getting a new pet to play with. You should go for a Gaping Spider Recluse instead of the Hunter. Same pet but the Recluse has better specials.
