My guess would be no.

Pets excel at tanking but not at damage dealing. Thier greatest strength (with the exception of certain specials) is in the ablilty to absorb more damage than you.

PvPers, for the most part, (which I am not but this is a educated guess by a near master CH) are smart enough to target the one giving directions to said pet.

Pets are an extra distraction but little more.

I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

no. It is completly worthless in PVP. I am a MCH with all kinds of uber powerfull pets, and not a single one will stand up to one of the PVP templates. The best thing you can hope for is to get something really big like a kimo and hope that it lags the opponants computer so much you can get awy. That is about all we MCH's are good for in PVP. LAG.

I would go along with what Porag_Krongt wrote.

Since an MCH can have a max of CL70 out at once that would be either two so-so pets or one good pet. Myself, I could kill something that big with ease. Any master combat profession would have no problem with a single CL70 pet. In PvP I would ignore the pet (or pets), go after you, healing any damage the pet was doing and concentrate on you. Pets are the shield. Your the brains behind the shield. Your more dangerous. When you die I would try to peace out on the pet. But that's just me.

Either way thetypical PvPer will take you out first and more then likly kill your pets out of spite.

ROFL

ya it's good provided you have a 2nd elite profession that you need a 3 second delay in an attack (cause against most other elites that's all ou are gonna get outta your pets 3 sec)

MCH can help in a group of PVPers, but alone you don't stand a chance. I've been playing MCH and Pistoleer in PVP for a couple months now and all I've gotten is death and vitality loss. I've won a few times, but the deaths far outweigh the wins. I finally decided that CH has to go if I want to be good at PVP. It's sad, but true. I played out MCH as much as I could anyway. I've experienced everything I wanted to experience. Now I'm stocking up on non-CH pets that I can play with and roleplay with and I'm going for an elite fighting profession to go along with my Pistoleer. My advice is if you want to play PVP you should drop CH or go for a lesser CH level (Novice CH for instance).

Some people go for the uber template before trying other professions. I tried what I wanted to try and that made me happy, I'm fulfilled with CH. Now I can move on to a PVP template without guilt or feeling like a bandwagon hopper.

Opps, sorry, I can't help but laugh when I see PvP, Good and CH in the same sentance.

Yes, CH used to be very good. Now though, your pets will die in under 10 seconds if your fightingagainst a non-crafter...
