Thread: Pet Grouping and Jedi Visibility

When grouping with a Jedi, I can keep my distance from my Jedi friend so as not to increase his visibility. If my pet is grouped with us, does my pet have to remain at a distance as well...or do pets not have an effect on Jedi visibility?

Thanks in advance for any input!

Last night, Darth Vader came down from planet Vulcan and told me that if I didn't take Lorraine out that he'd melt my brain. (George McFly - Back to the Future)

No ch pets do not give visibility, rumor has it droids do but I can't confirm that to be true, I can confirm ch pets do not give visibility. see my thread I made today suggesting possible grinding partners for ch and jedi. I have been doing this for a week and am not on the term.'s.

As I suggested in that thread use the befriend command and give the jedi control over the pet, this allows you to wander and tame babies while staying over 32m away while your friend gets group xp for you and himself. Kinda cool if done right. you could theoretically get alot of xp in a short amount of time. distance does not seem to matter in rewarding the ch xp when someone else has control of your pet. I get ch xp being over 300m away never tried it further or on difeerent planets.
