I rode around for about an hour last night, and only saw a dozen animals. Is it just me, am I driving too fast on my speeder, and I'm past them before any lairs pop out? I do have my radar set to 256M, so I don't know why I wouldn't be able to see much. I obviously don't have any problems running into creatures on Endor, Dath, Dat, etc. The spawn on those planets is way too much. If I do find a baby I want to tame, it takes an hour just to kill the adults so I can walk in there to tame. (I'd /maskscent, but it never works any way)
Any suggestions? Has any one else noticed that the spawn rate on Corellia is really low?

Not on corellia, but I did have HUGE(larger than 1500m in a straight'ish line)expanses of nothing on Naboo. I even got off my speeder to ride a fat slow mount...I wasn't missing anything, as nothing was there to miss. I honestly never did spend much time on Naboo,as it reminds me of Jar Jar and makes me wanna poke Senor Lucas in the eye with a sharp stick. Maybe Naboo was always this way

I have noticed that when I'm on my swoop, I miss spawns. I can see them popping as I pass sometimes. I've played around with my settings thinking maybe it was set to load too small of a range from where my character was but that only drew terrain further out. When I am out searching, I ride a slower mount like you tried or just hoof it.
Specifically with Corellia, I noticed more natural spawns around water ways then in grassland areas.
