Petitions don't do anything, The devs ignore them. As all the petitions reguarding the CU demonstrated.
Your best bet is to write up a well thought out arguement and submit it to the correspondent to have it added to the CH issues list.

Dozens and dozens of variations of this request have been posted all over since launch.
Then were subsequently ignored or poo poo'ed by the Dev's, more power to you trying to get this in the works but it aint gonna happen.
Having a museum or zoo was another variation as was re-deeding a pet that had no vitality loss to level 1.
Much as we MCH'swould love this even though this would cause no imbalance whatsoever, /em flushes toilet...
Maybe it will get ignored maybe it wont, Hey the pharple is tamable now 
maybe this can just be a nice reminder that all the chs really want this really really bad, or at least a fix on the add pets tapes

As for the CU petition, come on did you guys really think they were just gonna toss all the work and money they put into the CU just cause a few thosand people quit? (work= time = money)
Plz read the corral thread. Its been here for a year and a half. It is well thought out and would provide plenty of storage and new content. Of course, we have not received 1 post from a dev in that whole time. I even handed the outline to TH at the first fanfest. But, I am persistent, TH will get his updated copy again this year. Take a look and any new ideas.
