Howdy all,
I've done some vehicle races for my Town, and with the new Mounts people are interested in racing those as well. Sounds good to me, but like the various Speeders, the pets run at different speeds, so I'm thinking brackets would be in order. Can anyone help group the various pet mounts together into 2 or 3 brackets based on speed?
Something like:
Fast:
Kaadu
Spat
Medium:
Cu'Pa
Falumpset
Slow:
Bantha
Dewback
I know I'm missing a couple, Cu'Pas might need to be in fast, 2 groups might be enough, etc. Help?
Thanks!

The falumpshould be in the slow category. That's where the brackasets and the humbabas belong as well.
The dews and the bols are in the medium category.
Banthas are probably in the slow. Has anyone tested their gallop? I suspect cu pas are mediums.
The speed categories really only apply to the gallop speed. At normal speed, they all are pretty much the same.

Hills and water greatly affect running speed as well. You'll want a flat course. Or maybe you'll want a hilly course just for that reason. I've noticed the same thing in my vehicles (one of each). Their regular speeds aren't all that different, but over water the swoop really slows down and on hills the landspeeder really doesn't slow down much.
