A friend told me a 'once upon a time' story about how these beasts used to be tamable. But, I'm here to talk about these creatures in the here and now.....

I have seen them only in static spawns on Dantooine, no lairs, two at a time.

Do they infrequently spawn babies? According to swgcreatures.com, they do, but this could be dated information.

As few of these as I see in the wild, I would consider them a rare creature if they are tamable, but this remains to be seen.

No they do not spawn babies. They were changed in their stats to "Tameable: Yes". There are also some other wild's that have the same stat, yet also do not spawn babies. Could be a type, a teaser of what MIGHT be to come, or any other assumption. Just take the "umption" out of assumption, and you've got a group of people looking for them, and I fall in that category also.

I would have to say definately not. i spent a couple weeks killing em, and never saw a single baby.

They are tamable as an ultra rare spawn and the spawn rate will be as low as the Bull Rancor. If you examine they do say tamable meaning they spawn babies.
