Oops, hit enter by accident. Is there still any point to using two pets or should I just use the highest level pet as possible?

Nope, the XP is now split between the 2, but the total remains the same as if you used the 1 pet. Pain in the arse innit?

I ground (grinded?) my ass off to make it to MCH with baby GSPs a week before they nerfed that.

It splits the xp in two, but if you are going for lots of xp, the weaker the creature you attack with the more xp you get. What I usually do to grind ch xp is, when your attacking, wait until the creature your attacking is down to around a quarter of it's ham, then send in your creature to attack. Your creature only needs one successful attack to get the xp, this system works good for hunting in a party, especially if you are a marksman or rifleman, while hitting from a distance, you can send them in to attack and then call them back after your creature makes a successful attack!!!

If you're soloing and using, say, a CL 16 plains cat to grind XP with, you don't get any more XP for using two plains cats (if you can) BUT your target will die faster. I'm not much when it comes to combat. I'm a CH. I'm trying to let my pets fight most of the battles for me. Two pets out don't get more XP for a kill, but you should be able to kill more things in the same period, netting more XP overall. IF you're soloing, that is.

Hitting with your largest creature isn't the answer though. If I attack a Gurk with my CL 25 merek, I'll get around 300 XP. If I can attack it with my CL 16 plains cat, I'll receive a little over 400. So in that case, if the group is being efficient at taking them down, I'll run with a cat or two rather than the merek.
