Thread: Toxic Merek, and Archane Webmaster?

Ok, I've been looking around Endor for these 2, and it seems that there are nests of various types of these all together. For example, I see 3 different kinds of Mereks in a single nest. My question is, do these 2 creatures have thier own nests, or are they in with others of their own kind?
I ask this because I am not having much luck catching these 2. If you can help me in my quest, I'd appriciate it.

you can pull missions for battle lords..should get a baby in the first lair...i think there are webmaster missions too..if not look for an earthen mound with a webmaster out..they spawn babies readily

Webmasters normally spawn with Warriors. I believe they might occasionally be in liars with Drones.
TMB's usually pop with lair bosses, but I can't remember what type of lair they are tamable from - might be Avengers.

They are rare, not bull rancor rare but rare. It took me months to find babies but that was before the great nerf.
I stil have my webmaster, I had 2 TMB's and 2 DMA's

They arent that uncommon. I got a pair of TMB's from a single mission lair, and have had about 5 webmasters, 3 of which i tamed in the same afternoon. Passed over maybe a dozen more.

I've got a TMB so they're not that rare 
I barely hunt rare pets (just caught my first wild rancor, only a gnarled one though)
The TMB took no time to find at all, first lair i hit.

Location location location. For the arachne webmasters you need to go the research station then head out west or south you will find more then you can ever want. I find that the mereks tend to be to the north of the southern outpost. Whereas in that area you will find it harder to find alot of other creatures its hard to find tameable gurreks in that area, and the same is true of hanadaks, and some other species.
I am a level 45 and cannot tame the webmasters, and yet I qualify for arachne warriors, and it takes me many hours to find a baby spawn. Three times I have tried and three times with fifteen attempts I have yet to tame one.

really? You think they are rare? I find webasters quite often since i frequent endor, and battlelords are pretty common I thought. I deleted my webmaster yesterday to make room.

They probably looked like they were part of the same nest. mostly because mereks are extremely mobile. Once they spawn from the nest, they'll typically travel far enough from their lair to despawn again. This makes it easy to get babies usually because the mereks get far apart from each other and the danger of aggro goes way down.
