Hi, I'm kind of new to this whole SW:G thing eh... but no matters!
I've been pondering on my template for quite a while now and I have yet to achieve a very much needed decision... Now I know I'm going MCH... my problem is what else do I get?
What I have right now is Quasi-Master medic the pistol tree filled in marksman and the basic scout things for CH.
I have 3 bubbles (only) of CH right now but I already love it! Now I was thinking of dumping the pistols to go for MBE and make my own darn pets... but I thought: "Hey... I can probably tame better pets then what I could make" now correct me if I am wrong... but anyways I'd like some advice... since my guild is SUNS on azhazi we go on alot of hunts... Krayt's, Geo caves, death watch etc. (not often but hey we still hunt) and I wanna be able to make a difference not just send my pets and get them killed... (like right now.. ugh)
Thank you very much!

If you're intending to spend a lot of time engaged in combat, you're going to need a supporting combat profession to complement MCH. Your critters don't do nearly as much damage as you can.with a fourth box on the marksman tree, for example.
CH does not stand alone in mid-to-high level PvE combat; at the highest end, it's suicide for you and your pets.
BEs can make better pets than you can tame wild. Whether you make them yourself, get them from the PA mad scientist type, or just buy them, BE pets are going to be superior to their equivalents in the wild in combat.
Pets can be helpful in group hunts, but they have no where near the level of importance they had in the first five months after launch now. They've been severely nerfed.

tk is good with ch except for the fact that pets and tks only have 1 damage type. Any ranged prof. With kd would be good if you had a pet with a dizzy special.

CH/BE can be fun if you are not big into combat. I would say it is more for the explorer types.
I do have a nice pair of cats that let me fight any single target up to around CL 70 and smaller groups under that. However it is slow and not something you do regularly on your own. As Sio said, with even minimal combat experience you will outdamage your pets.
He is also correct about BE pets. I love my wild tames, but even the toughest is no match for the ones I have made myself.

All the above suggestions are real good. In all honesty, CH fits well with any flavor of combat. I'm a Carbineer/CH I've knownpeople to be Rifle/Ch and of course any melee with CH is good to. I have a friend who rocks as a Pistoleer/CH. I think the only combination I haven't seen so far is Smuggler/CH....(hmmmm)
So basically there is no "perfect" templet with CH, it's all based on what your personal preference is. Me, I'm thinking of hitting something else after I master Carbineer.
