Hello. I returned a short bit ago from an extended hiatus predating the droid builds. I mean, I'm still trying to figure out the special attacks command thing, I've yet to see one stick even after trained. My best pet is currently a level 50 Gurreck, BE made, about 12K HAM, and 550ish damage, as I recall. This seems to outdo most of the BE pets I've come across. I've got a pair of BDQs that are fun as well.

My skills are Master Ch/BH LLC4 / Ranger track 1. I can attempt to track most babies.

Can any of you more experienced Masters advise me on:

- what single high level BE crafted pet should I be on the lookout for/order to have made?

- what babies would be worth my time to spend tracking down?

- how do the new Bantha mounts compare to the other CH mounts? Are they ALL too high a level for nonCH?

and lastly, thanks for your time.

Thanks much. I didn't know what the max level/specials etc a BE could pack into a skin.

Was wondering what I could expect, and more importantly, what to look for numbers-wise: armor, ham, poison, etc. I guess I'm saying, that I can control a level 70(?) max pet, and my best thus far is 50.

Well, I believe, the max Kinetic resist is 60%. I think the others top out at 90%. Gurreck skins can keep up, sort of, with a speeder. For PVE get a light armored 60% kinetic in the skin of your choice. I use 2 Narglaches with the above stats. They are each CL 35. Unfortunately, all I use them for is to up the mission payout. The special attacks are flakey and any area attack or knockdown just does not work. Some people have had luck with the other special attacks by using a macro to spam the commands. Be pets are the only thing you can get that is close to what you were used to. Light armor is the highest you can expect. There are no tameable/craftable creatures with medium armor.

I recommend a pet with intimidate and stun for massive damage reduction. A dizzy/cripple pet for NPCs is nice, although with BH you have a posture change attack in marksman so you could get something like a dizzy/intimdate pet.

Area effect specials work fine. I use my pets' all the time.

Knockdown, (non-area) disease and poison do not work on command. Everything else works 100% for me, no macros needed, but /tellpet increases your range which could be the problem others are having.

1.) Really its just a matter of your preference, but most people tend to stick with gurrek skins due to the attack speed, or rancors just because they're rancors. Other than that, they can pretty much stick anything they want in any skin of they know what they're doing.

2.) It depends on what you want . . . if you're looking for usefulness, you're not going to find much left in the wild. If you're looking for cool-factor, check out the sticky on rares up top.

3.) All wild banthas (and cu pas for that matter) are too high for a non-CH. Both can be made non-CH by a BE.
