There seem to be a rash of these lately....

I went out to LOK to see what nasties I could find to test my re-spec skills on.

I'm currently - MCH/Master Marksman/Rifles 0011/Pistols 0001/BH 0001/Medic 0020/<force sensitive ranged speed and meele defense>

So while I have some decent combat skills I'm no master, just a good collection of specials. CL is 60 I've got some converted bone armor and a Tusken Rifle with about 310 dps. Nothing special.

I pulled out three pets and a droid, and grouped them up. I experimented on yard trash to figure out which ranged specials did what, and picked the best ones for regular use.

I fought some low level stuff 30s and had no trouble except when many of them ganged up, and even then it wasn't too bad.

I took a level 59 mission and it was easy as pie.

I was thinking, I need a challenge to get killed by, and then I saw the Kimo's CL94, a deep purple color to me. I found a lair that had one 94 and a juvinile at 20. I aced the small one with my rifle <root and head hit, body hit>. I buffed the pets <enrage and embolden> and sent them in. I started with the root and KD specials then started in with the heavy damage. To my shock the fight was going well. My pets were taking a lot of damage but so was the Kimo. At about one third health, two more Kimo's spawned at the lair. Another adult at 94 and a 20 juvie. They imedietely started in on my pets. I finished the first adult, switched to the juvie and dropped it quickly. I then turned the pets on the remaining adult figuring I was toast. Two pets were down already but the remaining ones were still pounding away. I laid into the damage specials, the pets finaly dropped and the kimo came at me wtih about 1/3 health remaining. So I started running and using my KD special, and my Root. They didn't always work but when they did, I'd stop and blast em with my damage specials. I picked up agro on a Flit and a pirate while running arond, but at their level they didn't do me too much damage. After a while I finished the Kimo, and then cleard out the Flit and Pirate (whith the help of a giant pharple that somehow agroed on the Pirate).

My pets did get knocked out and lost vitality (not that I care much since they all got "averaged" by the cu) but I was barely scratched, and I got a good deal of xp and hide from the kimos.
