Thread: pet buff question?
ospo wrote:
If i get my pet buffed and store it do the buffs go away?
IF #1 istrue, then can I EVER use a buffed peton another planet other than the one the pet got buffed on?
Also if #1 is true then is there a way to transport an pet to another planetwithout storing it? (invite to your ship ect?)
Is this a known issue that the devs plan to fix?
I am a new novice CH
Any help will be welcome.

For that answer please refer to the 300 posts in here involving bugs in the CH profession. (did I say 300? probably more like 3000) Then please compare those to the amount of times a post ahs been made thanking the devs for the fix. Then compare that number (the number is zero btw) to the amount of times they have released a new patch or update to tweak the spawn rate of (strong word) krayt pearls. You will find that it will either never be fixed or they are storing them in a mystical cave tended too by pink fairies and gnomes waiting for the right time to release a fix for them all.
And no, they will not stay buffed.

This is not a bug, this is by design. Pets don't have a "stomach," so this is the only way you can clear a buff before it expires in order to apply a different buff. If you try to feed a pet "special" food twice (blap biscuits, etc) for example, you'll even get a system message saying you must first store the pet to clear the existing buff.
But yeah, this does effectively mean that buffs must be applied on the same planet where you intend to do your fighting.

I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. My availability issporadic at best.
Wow, that is amazing. 1100 to each bar for 44 minutes? That's the petequivalent for us Brandy-holics. I assume that it is a one dose per shot thing that cannot be stacked up (i.e. It has a constant modifier like a Pikata pie bonus for humaniods rather than a stomach filling amount like Brandy or Ahrisa that can be stacked).
Thank you again for your input. I'll see if I can hunt down as Master Chef who would be willing to grind some out.
Thank you,
My vendors in signature have all pet food buffs foe very low prices
I simpley LOVE making pet supplyes - both as chef and as BE.
Just a note on topic: S.Rolls are pain to make, for they require milk. So it is cheaper and easier to do 1-stat buff (1000 for health, or 1250 for action, or 1550 for Mind). You can not combine them - true - but still it is usualy one HAM bar with goes down fast with one type of opponents. with my CH alt I always use these foods - Health food-buff for hunting and Action food-buff for FP grinding in GCW cities
Works nice...
